Relationship Issues
An important indicator of healthy emotional and mental health and wellbeing is the quality of our relationships. If you're struggling with connection—whether with a partner, family member, or friend—you’re not alone. These challenges are often worth exploring as part of supporting your overall wellness.
My work helps people cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves. This includes developing skills in setting boundaries, resolving conflict, communicating assertively, and regulating emotions. We also look at the deeper roots of your relational patterns, often shaped by early experiences, attachment dynamics, and developmental trauma.
Equally important is your relationship with yourself. I support clients in building inner resilience, shifting self-sabotaging behaviors, and taking meaningful steps toward a life that feels aligned, empowered, and connected.
Nervous System & Emotional Regulation
Many of the emotional struggles we face—difficulties managing stress, anxiety, depression, difficulties regulating emotions (fear, shame, anger)—are rooted in how our nervous system adapted to early relational and developmental experiences.
Drawing on polyvagal theory and somatic approaches, I help clients understand and regulate their nervous system states. This work supports emotional regulation, builds resilience, and fosters a deeper sense of connection—with yourself and with others.
Rather than relying solely on talk therapy, we include the body in the healing process. The body stores emotional imprints and survival strategies that may no longer serve you. By working at this level, we can shift longstanding patterns and support you in cultivating internal safety, self-trust, and more easeful presence in daily life.
Developmental, Relational & Complex Trauma
Many of the difficulties clients bring to therapy can be traced to early life experiences—those formative relational dynamics that shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world. If you grew up experiencing maltreatment, disruptions in attachments to your primary caregivers, chronic mis-attunements, emotional neglect, abuse, parental addiction, or high-conflict environments, you may still carry the emotional weight of those experiences today. This kind of long-term, repeated stress can deeply affect your sense of identity, safety, and your ability to feel connected and secure in relationships.
I offer trauma-informed therapy for individuals navigating the effects of their histories. In a safe, compassionate space, we work together to process painful experiences, rebuild a stable sense of self, and develop tools to support emotional regulation, resilience, and healing.
Additional Offerings:
In addition to the areas outlined above, I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. This includes support for grief and loss, sexuality and sexual orientation, career transitions, and exploring meaning, purpose, and spirituality.
I welcome individuals from all walks of life and am committed to providing an inclusive, respectful space for people of all cultures, genders, identities, and abilities. I particularly enjoy working with people who are sensitive, reflective, and seeking deeper understanding in their lives. My approach is highly personalized and collaborative, tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or pursuing broader personal growth, therapy can be a space to come home to yourself.
